Best Travel Blogs and Bloggers To Be Recognized In 2007 Awards
There are thousands of travel blogs on the internet, but until now, no venue has existed to recognize the best travel blogging on the web. The 2007 Travvies — the travel blog awards — fill this void.
"Travel blogs of all stripes are increasingly important outlets for great information and great writing," notes Mark Ashley, editor of Upgrade: Travel Better and the organizer of the 2007 Travvies. "Travel bloggers may cover the destination, the journey, or both. They might focus on business, leisure, or some combination. But at the end of the day, they’re about a space outside of the normal confines of home and office."
Any travel blog that existed in 2006 and that generated at least 52 posts in 2006 is eligible for nomination.
