Middletown, CT — Kimberley Linstruth-Beckom has written her second poetry book "Blue Water Baptism" that will be available to the public this week through Lulu. "The collection of poems in this book are thoughts and feelings I've had transitioning from my twenties to my thirties. We all grow as people, and I never thought at twenty-something that my core beliefs would change until I hit thirty. I got strong from what I've learned in those 10 years and it's almost like a baptism for me." said Linstruth-Beckom, "Watching my child grow with me has changed my views on friendships, love, spirituality, and life in general. I have grown- up with a lot more hope and faith thanks to my daughter, and that's not easy in this day and age."

Kimberley has been a writer for over half of her life and published her first two full- length books last year. "The Puzzle Called Life", Linstruth-Beckom's first collection of poetry, shows readers how the author dealt with the difficult topics of love, loss, death, and rape in her teen and early adult years. "The Fibro Hand" was written to help readers cope with the diagnoses and treatment of the chronic condition Fibromyalgia. "I was diagnosed with Fibro in late 2005 after a two- year- battle of trying to find out what was wrong with me. I needed an outlet to cope for myself, and writing the book helped." Both books, along with "Blue Water Baptism" can be found on Lulu.com.
