About GAF
Global Action Foundation (GAF) is a non-profit organization started by a group of young professionals who believe that they can help eradicate extreme poverty. The first GAF project has begun in Sierra Leone where amputees and their families have been left to fend for themselves. A young American medical student, John Daniel Kelly, joined forces with Dr.Mohamed Barrie to create an ngo, National Organization for Welbody that concentrates on feeding and educating these amputee victims. NOW also pays for St. John of God Hospital in Lunsar to medically treat children suffering from malnutrition.
