The popular music discussion blog, Rock Town Hall, will be presenting it’s Annual Grammy BASH beginning on Friday, February 9 with “Pre-Game” analysis leading up to the “Live Hot Blogging Action” during the Awards and followed on Monday with the “Post Game Wrap-up.” For the first time ever the BASH will be open to the public.

Formerly a private Yahoo! discussion group, Rock Town Hall is now a public blog for rock fans, geeks, snobs and nerds.

BASH categories for discussion will include: Made An Ass of Themselves, Shameful Winners, Shoulda Won Losers, Dressed Like a Fool, Aged Worse Then Keith Richards, and I Kinda Actually Enjoyed_________.

“True music fans have known for a long, long time that The Grammys are a joke. Watching this spectacle is painful, but in our watchdog role within the industry, it has become required viewing for Rock Town Hall members.” said blog founder and Moderator, Jim Slade, “We decided to go public in part because we want to offer aid and comfort to other rock music fans and to help spread the word that there is actually good music out there.”

ABOUT ROCK TOWN HALL - Rock Town Hall was founded to carry on and expand late-night turntable debates on self-important issues in rock. In 2002, a baker's dozen of opinionated, music-loving friends convened as a private discussion list. In time “RTH” grew to a virtual Who the Hell Does He Think He Is? among rock musicians, journalists, DJs, record collectors, and assorted rock nerds.

The Rock Town Hall blog was created and produced by longtime Philadelphia rock scenester Jim Slade and college chum and former FOX network development executive, Jason Sikes.
