The Idaho State Police Association (ISPA) Has Set Up A Benefit Auction To Provide Support To Paralyzed Idaho State Trooper

Idaho, February 7, 2007- On December 21st, 2006 Idaho State Trooper Chris Glenn was shot and critically wounded while trying to stop an armed robbery suspect trying to flea into Nevada. Officer Chris Glenn is now paralyzed from the chest down.

The Idaho State Police Association (ISPA) has set up a benefit auction and dinner at the Ballroom located at
205 Shoshone St. in Twin Falls on Saturday, February 24th 2007. Dinner tickets are $25.00 per couple and are available at a variety of merchants in Twin Falls including: Mr. Gas, Sportsman’s Warehouse and through the Idaho State Police.

Chris is a tremendous asset to his community. He has been heavily involved with young people in his community as a teacher and a football coach. He took public service to a new level when he decided to become a State Trooper almost five years ago.

The Idaho State Police is continuing to care for Chris' immediate needs. The fund raiser auction charity will provide the long-term care needed for him and support for his wife Alisha and three year old son.
