hurriKane Solutions Helps Launch New Information Website for Options Trading and Investing.

Chicago, IL —February 2007— TheOptionsInsider.com is a website that provides valuable information about options for those interested in options trading. It is an online newswire of options information. However, this was not the original intent of TheOptionsInsider.com

“The original idea was to take an existing template and essentially start posting information,” said TheOptionsInsider.com President Mark S. Longo, “but once we hooked up with hurriKane Solutions and took a look at this idea it was obvious it wouldn’t work.”

Seth Kane, Managing Partner of hurriKane Solutions, LLC, studied the original model and determined that for Mr. Longo to do it himself it would take too much time. What he was really looking for was a kind of networking site as if it were a news site focused solely on options.

“It was obvious they needed a website where information would flow quickly,” says Mr. Kane. “So we implemented administration tools that made posting information much faster and easier.”

hurriKane Solutions created a content management system that could store limitless information. They also instituted an RSS feed for each section so people could be notified of new information. Plus they developed a new custom-made blog system and custom built banner tracking systems to track banner ads and which ones were doing well. Finally, hurriKane Solutions also added a way for The Options Insider to post podcasts.

“What hurriKane Solutions did was create a dynamic and exciting website,” says Mr. Longo. “We have a site that those interested in options trading and investing will investigate again and again.”

In addition to creating solutions that bring more customers through their website, hurriKane Solutions created a site that was compliant with the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Guidelines Priority 3 and Section 508 standards. This opens the site up for those with disabilities.

“Their audience is global and this opens it up to even more potential customers,” says Mr. Kane, “This is the way of the future for websites and it gives The Options Insider an edge.”
