Novell Training Services to use Paragon Software Group’s NTFS for Linux 5.0

February 11, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Paragon Software Group, the leading provider of innovative, reliable software solutions in storage management and data safety announced that their NTFS for Linux 5.0 driver has become a participant in the Novell training session: "Methods for Modifying BOOTCD.ISO for Disconnected Imaging".

“This course focuses on teaching administrators how to modify the CD-based imaging environment to meet the needs of their organizations.”- said Konstantin Komarov, CEO of Paragon Software Group. “When it comes to training Novell customers there are two main products: ZENworks Desktop Management (ZDM) and ZENworks Linux Management (ZLM). Various versions of ZDM are used by over 40 Million customers worldwide to manage Windows desktops”,- said Rich Hanley, advanced Technical Training Engineer for Novell Training Services. “There are three methods that can be used to customize the CD-based imaging environment for ZDM and ZLM. During the second of three hands-on labs, students will include the NTFS for Linux Driver into the CD-based Imaging Distro, thus demonstrating how to employ the driver update method using a "real world" driver.”

Novell Training Services will offer technical hands-on sessions for 70 to 80 students per session at BrainShare, the annual technical/marketing conference held by Novell every year in March in Salt Lake City, Utah. Novell has become a leader in the Open Source space. For the past few years, the sessions at BrainShare have stressed their Linux operating systems and the tools to manage the Linux environment. By using Paragon’s NTFS for Linux 5.0 driver in this lab, both Paragon and Novell customers will get "real world" experience on how to get drivers into
the ZDM/ZLM imaging environment. It is a great step forward in two companies’ partnership.
