New Warrior 2005 Rugged Notebook Computer

City of Industry, CA (April 12, 2005) –Broadax Systems Inc. today has announced the immediate availability of their new Ruggedized Notebook Computer, the Warrior 2005.
This unit is so sturdy that it is Colt Explosive Proof, method 511.4 of the MIL-STD 810F, IP55 standard. The Warrior 2005 offers 2 slots 200 pin SO-DIMM for a maximum Memory capacity of over 2 GB. It also has an integrated 32-Bit 2D/3D core graphic controller with a maximum of 64 MB shared Ram. The Warrior 2005 comes standard with an Intel Dothan 1.6GHz (2MB Cache) Processor and 512MB DDR Memory. The Warrior 2005 has many uses; its rugged design along with its water and shock resistant magnesium chassis structure insure that it will withstand the harshest environment and function properly. This Rugged Notebook makes an excellent addition for Police or Fire Department, Oil Refinery, Power Plant, Construction, Telecommunication Industry and Field Service Engineers.

The Warrior 2005 comes standard with a 15.1” XGA 1024x768 LCD Display. There are two other options of LCD to choose from, both of which are 15.1”. One of them is an AC Resistant Touch screen Display and the other is Resistant Touch with a Reflective Sunlight Readable Display. A 60GB Hard Drive offers plenty of space for applications, but if more is needed, a 100GB Hard Drive is available. Standard options also include an integrated AC 97 Sound Controller, Stereo Speakers, 2 Type-II or 1 Type-III PCMCIA Slot and a Backlit 89-Key Win95 Compatible Keyboard.

Other options and accessories that are available for the Warrior 2005 are an integrated 56K V.90 Modem, Docking Station for Office or Vehicle (includes screen stiffener), Rugged Pelican Case, Integrated 802.11 Wireless LAN and Internal GPRS. With the diverse options available with this Rugged Notebook, It can suit anybody’s needs. This alone ensures that the Warrior 2005 is dependable and up to any challenges thrown at it.
