The National Association of Record Industry Professionals' (NARIP) San Francisco Bay Area chapter will hold a series of intimate workshops featuring candid conversations with prominent professionals in the music industry, beginning March 3rd, 2007, at Expression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, California.

"The workshops will be similar in structure to the TV show, "Inside the Actor's Studio," and feature a cozy environment that will be conducive to greater intimacy and less formality," says Gian Fiero, a recognized authority on commercial music and Independent A&R Specialist who will play the role of James Lipton as moderator.

"With so many panel discussions taking place at music industry conferences in practically every city, we thought it would be refreshing to have an educational program that allows the audience to eavesdrop on revealing, insightful, and introspective conversation that professionals tend to have with each other when they are in a one-on-one situation."

The guest for the first installment of the series ("A Conversation with Top Music Supervisor PJ Bloom") will be illustrious music supervisor PJ Bloom (Nip Tuck/The Shield/Running With Scissors) who will offer a look into the world and profession of music supervision and the licensing process, as well as how to get your music placed in television and film.

Registration details about "A Conversation with Top Music Supervisor PJ Bloom" and more information about NARIP can be found in the upcoming events section of the NARIP website below.
