Leading virtual network operator TFM Networks is sponsoring the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) summit on effective cost management, which will focus on improving cost management strategies as part of business planning, in order to increase net profit.

The IoD Summit, which is being held at Le Meridien Hotel, Piccadilly, London on 8th March, will examine key cost areas for businesses, such as core business functions and supply chain management, and outline how these areas can be effectively managed and strategy developed to support further business growth without spiralling costs.

Directors at the summit will cover all key areas of financial planning and cost management, including structuring the procurement process and effectively managing staff and resource costs to support continued growth and continue to maximise net profit.

Keynote speakers at the event will offer delegates valuable insight into cost savings which can be made though changes to back office and procurement strategies, operating processes and business infrastructure.

Brett Rowe, sales and marketing director at TFM Networks: “With companies facing increasing national and international competition, there has never been a greater need for effective cost management strategies, to sustain growth and maximise profitability.

“By examining key cost areas such as communications and business networks, and looking at ways of effectively managing them including outsourcing or remodelling the business infrastructure, companies can significantly reduce operating costs without impacting on performance or service delivery.”
