LEBANON BOROUGH, NJ – Pip Squeakers Baby Shoes will make their Hollywood debut at The Academy Awards, February 25, 2007. These whimsical shoes have been selected to be in the official celebrity gift bags, at the "Night of 100 Stars", one of the top three Hollywood viewing parties. The party, produced by well-known super agent, Norby Walters, will be held at the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel.

This black tie Academy Awards viewing party will have hundreds of attendees, including many former Oscar winners. Pip Squeakers shoes, will not only have a much-coveted spot in the "Gift Bags", but will also be one of only 20 or so products, showcased in the party's Gift Room. During the course of the evening, celebrities will be able to visit the Gift Room and see the gifts, up close and personal.

"I'm always looking for unique products to introduce to the Hollywood crowd", says Nancee Borgnine of Hollywood Connection, the firm responsible for putting together the celebrity gift bags. Ms. Borgnine found Pip Squeakers online, while searching for a "first birthday" gift for her nephew, Anthony Ernest Borgnine, grandson of Oscar winner, Ernest Borgnine.

Pip Squeakers offers unique baby and toddler footwear, online at http://www.pipsqueakers.com. They specialize in squeaky shoes, but also offer an array of other baby products such as soft sole shoes and Puma socks. Toddlers wearing squeaky shoes, learn that their steps create fun sounds. This "cause and effect" discovery, contributes to thinking skills development. The entertaining squeaky sounds encourage foot and leg movements, exercising the baby's gross-motor skills. Babies and toddlers are not the only ones that benefit from these unique shoes. Parents enjoy the safety aspect, as they can hear when their quick moving toddlers are on the go.

Tricia O'Connell, company co-founder and associate, Mary Beth Pittinger, both residents of Lebanon Borough, NJ, will be in the Gift Room to personally hand out Pip Squeakers to the celebrities. "We are so honored to be one of the select products being included in this year's celebrity gift bags," said Ms. O'Connell. "This is the biggest night in Hollywood and we are thrilled to be a part of it," O'Connell added.

Pip Squeakers, founded in 2000, was the first worldwide company specializing in baby and toddler squeaky shoes. "We discovered squeaky shoes, during a trip to Asia. When we returned to the U.S. and couldn't find squeaky shoes anywhere, we decided to go into business and share them with the world."
