Ambrosia Restaurant Chef to Take Part in Culinary Masters Benefit Event

The 5-star Ambrosia Restaurant (www.ocpavilion.com) is pleased to announce that Executive Chef Michael Rossi will be taking part in the Culinary Masters 2007 event. The event will be held on March 4, 2007 at the Ritz-Carlton and benefits the Roosters Foundation for Children.

Touted as the Southern California culinary extravaganza of the year, guests will experience a five-course (minimum) gourmet dinner with complimenting wines. Each of the top chefs involved in the event will prepare their signature dishes for their exclusive table and tables will select a pre-set menu by sponsor level the night of the event. The chef assigned to the table will not be revealed until they enter the ballroom. The event offers awe inspiring table designs, the best of Orange County cuisine, exquisite wines and five star service from each Master Chef’s restaurant top-notch wait staff.

The Roosters Foundation for Children will use the proceeds from the event to support the most pressing needs of at risk and disadvantaged children as well as the annual Roosters Holiday Food Drive. The Food Drive distributes through 25 charities holiday meals that feed over 13,000 homeless and displaced children and their families during the Christmas/New Year period.

Ambrosia’s Executive Chef Michael Rossi looks forward to showcasing his culinary artistry.

“We feel it is important to get out there and support the community. We want to do our part to help raise awareness and support the needs of disadvantaged children through our participation in this event,” Rossi said. “Plus, it’s always fun to take our best out there and compete with other local restaurants.”

Rossi’s menu at Ambrosia offers a celebration of the seasonal marketplace that includes a pairing of fine wines with the freshest fruits, vegetables and entrees of the season. The menu works to achieve a dynamic balance that both excites and entices the palette of the food enthusiast. The Ambrosia Restaurant features a European-inspired, brick-domed Wine Cellar that offers rare vintages of fine wines from around the world.
