Victory City Church welcomes Pastor Kennedy of Cornerstone Church Witbank in Witbank, South Africa, as a part of a continuous effort to bring guest speakers from across the world to northern Nevada. VCC was founded 13 years ago by Chris and Dede Vigil who now oversee the leadership of four churches including Fernley, Nev., and Tegucigalpa, Honduras locations.

Cornerstone Church Witbank reaches outlying communities in South Africa and is one of the fastest growing churches in its area with over 300 members.

"Pastor Dede and I are honored to have Pastor Kennedy visit us here at VCC. We believe hundreds of lives will be touched by the message and special program planned for Sunday's service," says Vigil.

Members of Illusions, VCC's performing arts group, will also be performing a special multi-media praise production during the service. The production features members of VCC's youth group, Telow, and will include lyrical dance, fine art and photography.

"We are a church made up of diverse and relatable people with a common love for God. It's important that we welcome pastors not only from the U.S., but that we have guest speakers from around the world. We believe that together with the people of Reno, Sparks, Fernley and surrounding areas we can build the kingdom, become more aware of the world outside of Nevada and effectively change it."

Other upcoming and ongoing events at Victory City Church include RenoVation, a community outreach program focused on helping single mothers, prison and rehab populations and people in need of food and clothing. VCC will also host a special Easter Celebration service on Sunday, April 8, as well as guest pastors from Ohio and Idaho on Mother's Day and Father's Day.
