COSTA MESA, Calif. – Ron Hardaway has decided to return to California and join the growing team at Credentrust Software. Hardaway, former CFO of Ingram Micro Inc., was first associated with Credentrust Software in 2000 as an Advisory Board member and is now involved in the daily activities of Credentrust Software. Taking Credentrust Software to the next level is a challenge that Hardaway relishes.

“I have worked with small business owners for many years in regard to obtaining financing to grow and expand their business,” said Hardaway CFO of Credentrust Software. “The iBank.com solution allows small business owners the opportunity to compete for financing much more efficiently and with greater success. I am very excited to be a part of this innovative and growing company.”

Hardaway received his BS degree in accounting in 1967 from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and went to work for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. In 1979 he left as a Senior Manager in one of the largest CPA firms in the world, which is now known as KPMG. After joining Ingram Industries Inc., Hardaway was the AVP of Internal Audit from 1979-1984, became the CFO of Ingram Distribution Group from 1984-1988, and was the CFO of Ingram Book Group from 1988-1990. Hardaway became the Worldwide CFO of Ingram Micro Inc. in 1990, and because of the company’s huge expansion, he later focused his attention only on the US, and became the US CFO in 1995. When Ingram Micro Inc. went public in 1996, it was the largest public offering in Orange County, California history. Hardaway retired from Ingram Micro in 2002 and has since been associated with Semequip Inc., in North Billerica, Massachusetts.

“We are thrilled to have Ron take an active role in the daily tasks and duties at Credentrust Software,” said Tom Markel, CEO and Chairman of Credentrust Software. “I’ve known Ron for years and I finally convinced him to join the company full time. With his wealth of experience and knowledge, I know that he can take Credentrust Software in a very profitable direction.”
