The eca$hier® Financial Partners With Consejo Empresarial Gasolinero Valle De Mexico, A.C.

(PRLEAP.COM) Addison, TX – eca$hier Systems, LLC (ECS), a Texas based financial kiosk manufacturer, announced its agreement with Consejo Empresarial Gasolinero Valle De Mexico, A.C. (CEGA), the association for Pemex distributors, jobbers, and dealers, to deploy its own self-service multi-function financial kiosk in Mexico.

In early 2007 one hundred kiosks will be placed in selected Pemex store locations. This initial deployment will be followed by a 24-month rollout of 2500 eca$hier® Financial Services Kiosks into other Pemex store locations throughout Mexico.

The initial services provided by the eca$hier® Financial Services Kiosks are point-to-point money transfer services from the U.S. to Mexico, CEGA sponsored dispensing and reloading of a prepaid gasoline card, a Mexican Bank Branded prepaid debit card, and ATM cash dispensing.

Pemex owners and operators are changing the way business will be conducted at Pemex stores. Rather than making cash payments for gasoline to attendants at the islands, customers will use a stored value gasoline card to pay at the pumps. In addition, customers will be able to pay for goods and other services at the Pemex stores using the debit card product instead of cash.

From the eca$hier® Financial Services Kiosk, Pemex customers also will be able to purchase and reload a Mexican Bank branded prepaid debit card to use for shopping throughout Mexico.

Other functionalities soon to be added to the eca$hier® Financial Services Kiosk are bill payments and collection, prepaid services (including long distance calling cards and cellular calling minutes), and other CEGA approved services.

Carole Hornsby Haynes, Managing Partner of eca$hier Systems, said, “The unique self-service capability of the kiosk for transferring money from the U.S. into Mexico is generating a great deal of interest and excitement in both countries.”

She explained that, “In a ‘point-to-point’ transaction, a customer can send money from an ECS kiosk in the U.S. to an ECS kiosk in Mexico, where it can be picked up by the recipient. By using the self-service kiosk, customers are able to send money to their families in Mexico at a lower cost.”

Money remittance companies in the U.S. also will benefit from the kiosk deployment because they can use the self-service ECS kiosks as additional pick up points in Mexico when they remit funds to Mexico for their U.S. customers.

Ms. Haynes said, “The eca$hier® Financial Services Kiosk is the first major deployment of a self-service financial kiosk anywhere in the world. Following the Mexican venture, ECS has similar projects scheduled for other major markets in the U.S. and Europe.”

An affiliated company of eca$hier Systems will process the kiosk transactions, using its own patent pending software.
