Since Marriott International assumed management of The Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, the Princeton, NJ hotel has undergone $15 million renovations to its meeting facilities. The renovation program includes new meeting tables with ergonomic chairs, upgraded conference amenities, wireless Internet access in all meeting spaces, plush new carpeting, new wall coverings, and brighter new finishes. All of the meeting rooms and public areas feature windows to provide a generous amount of natural daylight and views of the grounds and the scenic woodland setting of New Jersey. Meeting facilities include 32 meeting rooms with 35,000 square feet of space. The largest meeting room is the Alexander Ballroom at 5,000 square feet with a maximum seating capacity of 400. Conference dining, the spa, and other recreational facilities are in a separate portion of the building, so meetings are distraction free. What sets the Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal apart with regard to meetings in New Jersey is its ability to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for maximum productivity, with personalized meeting services and sophisticated metro technology.

This meeting hotel was initially designed and constructed to be a conference center, so the overall layout and flow is very conducive to group learning and accomplishment. With all meeting space situated on one floor in a separate wing connected to the hotel, there are an abundance of breakout rooms clustered near larger conference rooms which allow for a wide variety of meeting types. No matter what the group size, privacy is attainable. There are solid walls with tackable wall surfaces and separate entrances to the meeting rooms as well as access to outdoor common areas, refreshment kiosks where attendees can grab a coffee, juice, or quick snack any time throughout the meeting day, providing the flexibility conference attendees desire.

The Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal is certified by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). IACC certified conference centers have to meet stringent criteria (including dedicated conference space, availability of meeting packages, ergonomic design of the conference facilities, availability of professional staff, food and beverage requirements, guest room and technology requirements, etc.) and are therefore set apart from other hotel meeting facilities in New Jersey.
