Venue of Tutankhamun Exhibition Announced

(PRLEAP.COM) The venue for the Tutankhamum and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition has been announced. The O2, located on the banks of the River Thames in Greenwich will be the home of this long awaited exhibition which returns to London for the first time in 30 years and is expected to be the biggest exhibition the city has ever hosted. Short break specialist, Superbreak has been appointed to offer short breaks to the exhibition.

The Tutankhamum exhibition will run from November 2007 to August 2008. This is the biggest visitor event to hit London in years and demand is expected to be high as a whole new generation take the chance to learn first hand about the life of this magic monarch.

In 1922, the tomb on Tutankhamun was discovered along with a tomb holding the most magnificent treasures of the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. Giving a glittering glimpse into the past - this is the first time in 30 years the artefacts of the boy-king have left their home in Egypt.

Superbreak’s packages include a hotel and timed entry ticket. Other elements such as return rail travel plus London sightseeing and attractions can also be added. The one night package includes one night at the three star Royal National Hotel on a b/b basis with a ticket to the exhibition the next morning. The two night package includes two nights at the four star Novotel London Euston hotel on a b/b basis with a morning ticket to the exhibition.
