(PRLEAP.COM) The Gold sisters of Leesburg, Virginia will be performing at the 3rd annual Southeast High School Bluegrass Jamboree. Appearing as Gold Heart, this sister band is composed of Analise (17), Jocelyn (14), and eleven year old Shelby. Analise is the "big sister," who fills the role of emcee for the band. She also sings and plays the mandolin. Jocelyn sings and plays rhythm guitar and also enjoys playing the banjo. Shelby is the fiddler for the band and also provides vocals.

2006 saw the release of Gold Heart’s first recording project, Journey to Heaven’s Bright Shore. Jocelyn penned four of the songs including the title cut, featured on the debut CD. Bluegrass veteran James King summed it up nicely when he wrote, “From the time you hear their true mountain style harmonies and modern instrumental arrangements, you will know Gold Heart is an up and coming bluegrass band to take seriously.”

Other bands performing are: veteran band Southern Heart of Arab, Alabama, The Mueller Family from Waterville, Maine (six children ages 5-19); The Barker Brothers of Copper Hill, TN; and Etowah Junction of North Georgia.

There will be concessions, door prizes, free parking and jam areas. SEHS is conveniently located off I-75, approximately 85 miles north of Atlanta and 35 miles south of Chattanooga, TN, at 185 Riverbend Road SE just off of the Dalton South by-pass. The music will begin at 3:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students under 18, and children under 6 will be admitted free.
