RT Image Adds Blogs to Web site

NORRISTOWN, Pa - As a further enhancement to RT Image magazine’s Web site, www.RT-Image.com, a new blog section of the site is now live and interactive with the magazine’s readership. The blogs can be viewed at www.RT-Image.com/blog.cfm.

Now, readers can visit www.RT-Image.com and read what’s on the minds of radiology professionals – as well as the RT Image staff. Visitors to the blog section can read blogger’s comments, respond with their own opinions or even ask them questions about the topic of interest.

“Last year was an incredible time of growth for RT Image. Our print edition and e-newsletter received a record number of awards – 20 – for their editorial content and design. Our new digital publication of the magazine took off and has shown an explosive growth in its subscriber base, and our Web site hit an all-time monthly high with 100,000 Web visits,” says Tom Schaffner, RT Image editor in chief. “Now, the blog section of our Web site is the perfect way to continue our growth into 2007.”

The initial group of radiology professional bloggers will discuss such topics such workplace issues, staffing concerns and technology advancements. The student bloggers will tackle the concerns of entering the field, learning this burgeoning profession and balancing school and clinical rotations. The RT Image staff will address issues concerning the industry and backstories on the editorial in each issue. Within the coming months, RT Image will add more bloggers and expand its category offerings.
