Patterson, New York (March 14, 2007) – The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), the longest-tenured fire sprinkler advocacy organization in the U.S., will hold its 2007 Annual Seminar & Exhibition in Las Vegas on May 3-5. This year’s event, at the new Red Rock Resort, is expected to draw the largest attendance of any annual fire sprinkler event in NFSA and U.S. history.

NFSA’s previous record-holding event was its 2005 100th Anniversary Celebration & Exhibition held in New York City, when over 1,200 fire sprinkler professionals attended. With 2007’s expanded programming and prime venue, this year NFSA expects record-breaking attendance in excess of 1,400.

The 2007 NFSA Annual Seminar & Exhibition will cover many aspects of the fire sprinkler industry. There will be two days of intensive workshops and informative general speaker sessions, informal networking opportunities and management team programs for designers, purchasing agents, superintendents, engineers and chief officers. The event will have more than 105 vendor booths in the exhibit hall showcasing the newest products and technology in the fire sprinkler industry.

“NFSA has lead the fire sprinkler industry with a wide variety of regional educational and networking opportunities,” said NFSA President John Viniello. “Our annual seminar and alternate year exhibition brings that philosophy onto the national stage, providing fire sprinkler professionals a range of programming aimed at the technician on up to the CEO. That’s why this conference will be the largest-ever gathering in the fire sprinkler industry.”

Among the exhibition’s highlights:
• An industry first “Top Tech” competition designed to crown the best fire sprinkler system layout technicians in the U.S. and Canada
• A technician educational track highlighting standards and building code changes and engineering issues at the design and installation level
• The CEO/president track, identifying best practices, personnel and fleet management issues, and personal asset protection
• A purchasing agent track, addressing estimating, inventory control, commodity acquisition, payment negotiation
• Two golf tournaments, including a medal play tournament at the TPC at the Canyons and a couple’s scramble at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear’s Best golf course.

Registration is open, though the best discounts are for those that register by April 1. The NFSA will also be offering several registration discounts for new and returning participants:
• A “member loyalty” discount of 50 percent of conference registration fees for any company that has sent a delegate for the past five years straight
• A 50 percent newcomer discount for companies that have not sent a delegate since 2004
• A two-day contractor management team discount to enable companies to send more second- and third-tier management for $150 per person after two full registrations from the same company.
