SaveALimbSmash.org Chooses IrisAds to Assist with Fundraising
(
PRLEAP.COM) Los Angeles – SaveALimbSmash.org has signed an agreement to use IrisAds on their website. The IrisAds platform allows visitors to the website to repost, share or e-mail pictures displayed on the site elsewhere on the web. They can also sign-up for a free SaveALimb/Irisize account and help support the organization year round.
The IrisAds platform displays picture galleries in a frame that is branded; in this case for SaveALimb. Below the galleries is a small advertisement. Anytime someone signs up to use Irisize.com through the SaveALimbSmash.org website, every one of the picture galleries they upload will display SaveALimb’s branding, and a portion of the advertising revenue generated will go directly to the charity.
“We’ve found that IrisAds is an excellent way for nonprofit groups to generate revenue and increase their brand awareness,” said Jim Malmberg, Vice President Business Development for Virtual Iris. “IrisAds is setup so that charities can go to their members, who are already posting and sharing pictures on the internet, and say to them, ‘if you are going to share your pictures on the internet, why not support us at the same time?’”
IrisAds costs nothing to setup and Virtual Iris will assist smaller organizations with implementation.
SaveALimbSmash.org’s first picture gallery can be found at

About Virtual Iris:
Founded in December 2003 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California, privately-held Virtual Iris allows anyone to convert their pictures into rich-media without the need to do any complex programming. The company provides the only form of rich media that is completely functional in the body of an e-mail message. About the Save A Limb Fund:
One in 125 children is born with a limb deficiency. Many of these children undergo amputation because they do not have the resources to travel to a specialist and pay for limb lengthening surgery. The Save a Limb Fund was established in 2001 to provide funding for limb lengthening surgery to children from around the world who suffer from congenital or developmental limb deformities. The Save a Limb Fund assists patients and their families with the cost of surgery as well as the other costs associated with treatment, such as travel.
