Indianapolis, IN - March 20, 2007 - LanternTorch Books is pleased to announce the highly anticipated release of author Tavis J. Hampton's The Golden Scrolls.

The Golden Scrolls is a journey into a world on the brink of chaos. As a mysterious darkness slowly consumes one kingdom after another, the kingdom of Cor lies directly in its line of pursuit. Faced with the threat of extinction, the entire Known World places their faith and trust in one 12-year-old boy, named Fuad, to find the legendary Golden Scrolls that hold the answers to stopping the darkness. Is it a myth or a prophecy? Fuad must trust the words of his kingdom's old sage, the Storyteller, to guide him on his journey. Is Fuad the Chosen One? The readers must decide.

For Tavis J. Hampton, The Golden Scrolls is more than just a fiction novel; it is a glimpse into the very essence of human beings.

"I wanted to write a book that touched on issues that are important to people in our society: love, faith and reason, spirituality, mysticism, adventure, war, and death, without turning it into a self-help guide or a preacher's admonition. It is a simple tale, accessible to people of all ages, races, and religions, and yet it still delivers a powerful message about overcoming adversity and achieving self-realization."
