North East events organiser Prime Entertainment celebrates its fifth anniversary this month.

The company, which is renowned for its Bond Theme Casino night, marks its birthday as the DVD of latest James Bond action extravaganza Casino Royale is released.

Managing director Nigel Kirkup said: “The Bond Casino themed nights have proven to be one of our most popular choices for corporate and private events throughout the country – we have taken over 30 bookings for the next few months and there are no signs of the pace slowing down.

“The popularity of the new James Bond film with Daniel Craig has influenced party-goers’ decisions on the type of event to hold. They are all really keen to feel part of the action and the Bond Casino themed nights certainly achieve this.

“Alongside the Casino, which comes with £200 worth of fun money, we can also arrange flame lighting, Bond music and guests can be joined by glamorous Bond girls and even the ultimate guest – James Bond himself. Most popular of all, however, are our villain look-a-likes including Odd Job and Jaws.”

Nigel concludes: “It’s timely that we are celebrating five years of success with the release of the Casino Royale DVD. The business has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and we may even plan a Casino party for ourselves!”

Organise your own party with Nigel’s top tips
• Send invites out at least a month in advance and expect about an 80% response rate. The invite should also specify the event’s theme, dress code and times.
• Think of a theme. James Bond is always a good one but you could also try an Alfresco dinner party, Arabian nights, Big band swing party or a Casablanca party. Theme the party to suit – that means a dress code for guests, the décor for the venue and even the food, drink and music.
• Music is essential – get a good compilation CD or two and task a reliable friend with making sure the tunes keep coming.
• Make sure there is enough food and drink – including soft drinks. Make it easier for yourself and get a catering company in.
• Rope in some friends to help you decorate the party room and more importantly to help you clear up afterwards.
• If all else fails call in the professionals. To find out more about Prime Entertainment please call 01207 562055 or visit www.prime-ents.co.uk
