National Black Law Students Association Kick-Off 39th Annual National Convention March 21-25, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia

PRLEAP.COM) The 39th Annual National Black Law Students Association Convention will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Atlanta March 21-25, 2007.
Founded in 1968, NBLSA is the largest student-run organization in the United States, and represents nearly 7,000 member law students at over 200 law schools across the U.S. The theme for 2006-2007 is “Extending a Vision of Progress: Preparing for Excellence in the Law.” The scheduled panels, seminars, and workshops will build upon this mission. NBLSA prides itself on giving law students an opportunity to build useful skills through practical experiences. The organization is unique in that every event, every document, and every speech is created and implemented by member law students.
The 39th Annual Convention will include workshops, legislative issues, NBLSA elections, social events, luncheons, and banquets with particpation from registered convention attendees as well as key civic leaders within the state, city, and county government.

- The Welcome to Atlanta Reception and "Reversible Error" Death Penalty Rally – Friday March 23, 2007
- The National Finals of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition and the Frederick Douglas Moot Court
