(
PRLEAP.COM) Fredericksburg, Virginia — Every two and a half minutes someone is sexually assaulted in the United States. Heather Mihok was one of them. After surviving an attack in 2002, she wrote a collection of poetry entitled “Secrets, Nevermore”, which has recently been published and is available at
www.lulu.com. A portion of each sale will be donated to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, or RAINN.
The book details among other things the frustration of puberty, the attack Mihok suffered herself, and the thought process she had on the road to recovery.
RAINN is the largest anti-sexual assault organization and has been ranked as one of “America’s 100 Best Charities” by Worth magazine. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1 800 656 HOPE.
Heather’s goal is to raise awareness about sexual violence and continuously support RAINN through the sales of her book.
