Scott Cowan Chief Operating Officer of Shenoa Diamonds, and Blane Perun Vice President of the dot com division are out to dramatically build out the shoppers experience online with Shenoa Diamonds in 2008. "We are about to go live with two modules designed around a more efficient shopping experience" says Perun.

Our Loose Diamond search, and "Build a Ring" sections have undergone a massive overhaul and we will be breaking ground with both of them at the beginning of Q2. Our ambition was to take a look at the actual objective of the shopper in these two sections, then use technology to allow them to analyze a tremendous amount of product and make a rapid decision. This roll out was originally scheduled to early Q3, but our dot com division has been growing so fast we have expanded dramatically in the past three months. The expansion has increased our capacity and expedited our time table.

After mapping the logic we took a look at what the competitors are offering in this navigational area. Gathering all the data we then set out to design the best tools online to both build a ring and search for a diamond from a massive inventory. "After this roll out we have many more surprises in store this year" say Perun. We ill close the gap between our customers online experience and that of our competitors by year end.
