IN-COM Adds Valuable New Feature to SMART (TS) XL Search Tool

(PRLEAP.COM) IN-COM Data Systems has completed the latest addition to SMART TS XL supporting corporate and global SYNONYM dictionaries. Using a “WIKIPEDIA” style approach, users will be able to define and maintain synonyms on the fly.

An unlimited number of corporate synonym dictionaries can be added. “This feature offers great benefits,” remarked Shlomo Friman, founder of IN-COM Data. “The synonyms can be applied to field names, products, terms, procedures and business rules”. If a user of SMART TS XL notices that CUST-ID and CUST-IDNBR are identical fields with different names, this information is entered via the already easy to use WEB interface. From that moment on, any user in the corporation can search CUST-ID as a synonym and locate both field name usage points. Support for synonyms also functions with the DATA and CONTENT searches.
