Alfonso Faustino Introduces Greyhound Rescue and Adoption Efforts To The Film Industry

While aspiring actors and actresses try to get to the top directors and producers in the film industry with hopes to get their careers jump-started, Alfonso Faustino, Co-Founder and Owner of GreyhoundDogCare.com, is speaking with some of the top producers, directors, actors, and actresses in the film industrty not about jump-starting his entertainment career as an actor, but most importantly, about his greyhound and Italian greyhound dog rescue and adoption efforts.

Alfonso Faustino has been connected in the film industry primarily as an investor of independent films, where he introduced his business contacts to A-List film producers for film production funding.

He was one of the founders and partners who created Metropolis Motion Pictures, Limited, which was mainly a film finance company that focused on funding independent film projects with budgets between $1.5 million to $20 million.

Eventually, Metropolis Motion Pictures, Limited (LTD), dissolved its LLC and directed their focus and energy toward a film production company in Southern California called, Film 7.

"As long as I continue to speak about greyhound dog rescue to people, the momentum of those discussions will create a spark, which will create a fire, and that fire will spread the word of greyhound dog rescue — regardless, of business industries or location, the greyhound dog rescue effort becomes, in my social and business circles, a global issue."

Alfonso wrote the book to provide a global discussion and education about adopting and rescuing greyhound dogs after their lives on the race tracks.

Alfonso’s business method and approach have been successfully demonstrated in the past, where he created a global interest and concern regarding the parks in Tanzania, Africa.

As a result of his method and approach, he received donations from several well-known corporations in America — one being from Larry Ellison’s company, Oracle Corporation.

"The nice thing about being an entrepreneur is that I decide the way I allocate my time and efforts."

Alfonso concludes, "Right now, I choose to dedicate my time and money to the greyhound rescue effort — hell, if I was still working at Oracle Corporation, I might be working on a software project that protected diners from data thieves…what good is that to me? I pay cash when I dine out."
