TeleMessage Launches Mail Plug-in Application with Rogers Wireless

(PRLEAP.COM) Messaging International Plc, through TeleMessage, its 100% owned subsidiary, has expanded its contract with Rogers Wireless, the largest wireless operator in Canada, through the launch of its Mail Plug-in application. Rogers SMS Plug-in allows Rogers Wireless subscribers to compose and send text messages directly from within Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. Outlook users can also have important filtered email and calendar reminders sent directly to their mobile phone as text messages.

All messages sent from the application are charged based on standard text message rates and packages. Customers do not need any special hardware, specific mobile phones or training to use the service. They simply use the contact list they already have within their Outlook or Outlook Express. Messaging International’s revenue will be based on the number of messages delivered and the number of subscribers using the service.

Messaging International CEO, Guy Levit, said, "I am very pleased that we are continuing to develop our relationship with Rogers Wireless, which is the first carrier in Canada to offer this application from us."

Rogers Wireless’ subscribers can download the application free of charge at http://www.shoprogers.com/business/wireless/plans_services/smsoutlookplugin.asp.
