CHETRA INTRODUCES HEAVY 511 – A STEP FORWARD IN MACHINE BUILDING

Trade and service company “CHETRA –Industrial machinery” brings into the market a new model of the pipelayer - CHETRA HEAVY 511 – with rated lifting capacity 51t and maximum lifting capacity 104,5 t combining the best characteristics of the former models and new design concepts. According to the data analysis this new model is up to the imported analogues some parameters being higher than that of the latter ones.

What are the main differences of this new pipelayer? First, its more higher maneuverability and lifting capacity (in comparison with TG -503) as well as its lower weight (46 t) allowing its transportation in modern 50 toned trawls accordingly it eases its handling and lows the transportation costs. Therewithal its ultra modern eye candy design has the minimized number of operation controls located in handy place and makes easy the operator’s work.

By its engine (Cummins, 353 (480) kW), by its maximum lifting capacity CHETRA HEAVY 511 is an absolute leader among the models of this category. New design features have increased the life time of the undercarriage system and lowered maintenance burden. The frame is meant for absorbing high impact loads and toque force. The frame construction is designed to provide the necessary carrying capacity at long term operation of the aggregate with maximal productivity. There is a surface on the back side of the axle to fasten the drawbar hitch. Hydro mechanical transmission is with electric-hydraulic control. All the transmission units are of modular construction that allows to assemble, adjust and carry out units bench run before their installation on the tractor. The common configuration of units provides their accessibility and minimize labor intensiveness while dismantling them for a repair. The following targets were set while developing the transmission: rated life time of the bearings is not less than 20000 machine hours; transmission is unified with the former models to the maximum; the unit is designed so as to make it possible to unify it back at modernizing industry standard tractors.

March 22, 2007 Cheboksary gathered top managers and leading experts from oil-and-gas companies of Russia. "CHETRA-Industrial machinery" demonstrated opportunities of CHETRA HEAVY 511 to them. Representatives of the companies "Stroytransgaz”, "Surgutneftegaz", "Uralneftegazstroy", "Transneft", “Sibprovodstroy”, “Metallgazsnab”, “Lengazspetsstroy” and others became spectators of a mini-tractor-show. The test drive let the guests see and make sure how comfortable the operator workplace is equipped.
