Virtual Tales to Offer Free eBooks on April Fool's Day

(PRLEAP.COM) Virtual Tales, an e-publisher of e-books and serialized novels spanning a variety of fiction genres and styles, announced that it will host a special April Fool’s Day promotion for eBook fans and their friends. Starting at 12:00 midnight on April 1, 2007, every eBook purchased through the Virtual Tales website can also be sent to a friend at no additional cost. Buyers simply enter the e-mail address of the person they would like to send the free eBook to in the space provided during checkout, and both persons will receive the eBook.

"Just nine months ago, Virtual Tales opened for business with a handful of eSerial stories, and now, in addition to these products, we also have complete eBooks for sale," said Dave A. All eBooks on the Virtual Tales site are available for this promotion, and span a wide variety of popular genres including Horror, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Crime, Action/Adventure, Westerns and more. Many of the books have received favorable reader and industry reviews, and some of the books have received awards. The eBooks are available in MobiPocket, Microsoft Reader and PDA-friendly Adobe Acrobat formats.

Virtual Tales is a privately held partnership founded in December 2005 to deliver e-books and serialized fiction via e-mail through its website. It offers e-books and serialized novels and in both general and genre fiction for prices starting at 39¢ per issue. E-books are offered in a variety of formats, including MobiPocket, and can be directly downloaded. Serials are delivered through email twice a week as PDF (Adobe Acrobat) files suitable for reading on a PC, Mac, PDA, e-reader or other devices with e-mail capabilities.
