New Study Seeks Survey Participants: B2C Internet Business Marketing

(PRLEAP.COM) (Ithaca, NY) New student research at Cornell University analyzes the marketing channels available to small- to mid-sized, consumer-facing internet-based businesses. The research seeks to understand how effective current methods are in meeting the needs of these businesses, and what opportunities exist for the entry of a new option designed with these businesses in mind. The research is being conducted by Amy C. Cham and Matt Tangvald, MBA students at the The Johnson School, as part of consulting coursework.

Ms. Cham and Mr. Tangvald are looking for owners and marketers of consumer-facing online businesses to take the 20-question web-based survey. The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Respondents should transact a significant portion of business online with consumers in the United States.

In appreciation for participants helping with the research, respondents are offered the choice to enter a drawing for one (1) of two (2) $100 gift certificates from one of a list of online merchants. This list is available at the start of the survey.

In addition to the drawing, there is the option of participating in a free one-month beta test of the new service being offered by the client; testers can receive up to a total of four months of free service if they choose to participate in an extended trial with feedback. Both the drawing and the free trial are completely optional.

Email addresses collected for the purpose of the survey will be not be shared with the client organization unless the respondent requests to be contacted; otherwise, email addresses are used solely for the purpose of this survey.
