Live Craft Demonstrations by local New England artists at the New England Fine Arts Fair on Father's Day, June 17, 2007

Boston, MA - - The New England Fine Arts Fair (NEFAF), the region's only juried exhibition of its kind, will have live craft demonstrations conducted by local New England artists on Father's Day, June 17th at Bunker Hill Community College.

Visitors will have the opportunity to watch clay thrown on the wheel by Sharon Pollock, woodcarving by Paul Ward and wood lathe demonstrations by Beth Ireland. Visitors will also be able to meet other New England artists who are selling their original fine arts and fine crafts. Items will include paintings, drawings, jewelry, ceramics, handpainted silks, stained glass, photography, sculpture and much more.

The featured guest of June's fair is Susan Stranc, an established artist specializing in the creation of reduction linoleum prints. Susan has exhibited her handcrafted books and hand-pulled prints in numerous juried fine art and crafts shows and is represented by several galleries and booksellers. Complimentary activities will be provided for children as well.

The fair will take place RAIN or SHINE from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $3 per person; Children under 12 free. Plenty of free parking is available on campus.
