Zacuto Announcing New Lightweight Support for HD Video Cameras

Zacuto, a leading provider of HD Video Cameras and Accessories will be announcing its much anticipated Z-LWS which stands for Zacuto Universal lightweight Support with Z-Release for HD Video Cameras at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new Zacuto Z-LWS with Z-Release works on all 2/3” cameras with the standard V-wedge quick release camera plate. It also works on the JVC GY-HD200 or HD250 and on the Canon XL-H1. The Z-LWS replaces the V-wedge plate that comes with the camera and has 8” rods to mount accessories to your HD video camera such as matte boxes and follow focus units. As usual Zacuto has taken the concept one step farther by being the first lightweight support plate to be universal and work with all Sony, Panasonic, Canon & JVC cameras that have the V-wedge plate.

The Zacuto Z-LWS offers unique features that have never been seen in lightweight support such as incorporating two Z-release mounts into the plate which allows the user to mount any Z-Release gear directly to your Z-LWS system. This allows video HD camera users to mount items such as the Zacuto wireless plates, Zamerican arms or other articulating arms retrofitted with Z-Release, on-board monitors, hard drives and more.
