A Slice Of Bice Is Nice: Bo’s “I Don’t Wanna Be” The Lone Highlight of Idol

April 30, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Bice was the clear winner with his powerful performance of Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Wanna Be”. Wearing Lenny Kravitz-like shades he bought off the street and a very loud shirt, Bo rocked the audience with his singing and got the most applause of the evening. After Bo’s performance, Randy Jackson remarked that Bice was American Idol’s “true” rock star.

In other news, Bo’s rabid fans are visiting the Bo Bice Blog (http://bo-bice-american-idol.blogspot.com) and sharing their stories about how they feel about Bo’s musical abilities. Bice fan “Nika” shares the following:

“I live in Taipei (Taiwan) and before I got hooked on Bo, I was perfectly happy to wait the few hours todownload the episodes. Now, I make my boyfriend (who lives
in New York) set up his webcam and Skype (facing his TV) so that I can watch/listen to Bo live. I thinkhe’s a little sick of hearing me rave about Bo all the time, but even so, he can’t deny that Bo is the best contestant on AI!”

Another fan “Patty” said:

“I thought Clay would always remain my favorite until this year; then here comes BO BICE!!! This young man is awesome!!!!! Clay is good, even great but BO out shines him. When I watch BO sing and perform I feel how much he is into his music. I am hundreds of miles away but I feel like I am right there feeling every emotion he is feeling. He is amazing!”
