World Trade Center-Rhode Island Collaborates with Halpern Info Services
World Trade Centers Association is one of the most widely recognized brands for building global relationships. There are 55 offices in the United States and nearly 290 worldwide. The WTC-RI is a full service international business development and consulting organization working with WTC-Mumbai in this program. The Chafee Center works in concert with Small Business Administration, U.S. Dept. of Commerce and Rhode Island Export Assistance Center.
In the US-Indian Matching Program, small and medium-sized local businesses participate in a customized matchmaking service to source product, develop joint collaborations and ventures, locate agent and distributor partners, etc. to facilitate global trade and commerce between the United States and India.
Each client-company that participates in the endeavor receives personalized service from two international consultants (in the U.S. and India) in a hands-on facilitation, along with Tier I market research reports about the size and trends in the market, competition, and useful resources in the market. A cross-cultural orientation briefing with Indian and US business leaders, government officials and others, along with
educational material will be delivered at Bryant University on June 20, 2007. Potential trade partners will be present at this event.
