The interview is with Martin J. Bauer an assistant Professor at N.C.C.C. in communications. The main part of the interview is how negative TV affects the viewer, and how their life style is affected. The interview also talked about how some TV shows are becoming a positive role for people. Martin explain why the media goes with the negative media over positive media, and why the media is picking this way to inform the masses over positive TV. Martin talked about how negative TV can put stress into people lives. Martin also talked about how this is starting to change from negative media to positive media. Martin talked about some of the positive media, which is happening across the nation. He also explained what is
being taught in college today that will be affecting what the media will be doing in the future. In the end the viewer has the final decision on what a person is going to watch.


The basic idea of an interactive TV show with using the Internet is to bring the next level of TV to Western New York now. Presently interactive shows are being test marketed around the country. The shows are set up for being a total interactive show once the technology becomes more available in Western New York. Once this happens “The ABC’s of Insurance” will be one of the first shows in Western New York to be interactive. Right now the viewers have to get to their personal computer to get more information on the topics from the series. An interactive TV series, the viewers can get more information on the topic after the shows airs from the website.

The dates the programs will be aired will be on Niagara County LCTV channel 20 Tuesday at 8:30 pm, Thursday at 6:30 pm and Fridays at 2:00 pm, and in Erie County Adelphia Channel 20 the time is 10:35 pm Wednesday. On Wednesday May 11, in Erie and in Niagara County Thursday May 12 at 6:30 pm, Friday May 13 at 2:00 pm, and Tuesday May 17, 2005 at 8:30 pm.
