(
PRLEAP.COM) The dates for the 2005 Malibu Running Camp, held at Pepperdine University, have been set for June 21-26 and July 19-24. Owen Anderson, Ph. D., the author of two popular books on running - Lactate Lift-Off (

http://rrnews.microform.com/great_workouts_popular_races.php) - and the coach of several top athletes, will be on hand to teach attendees how to put together their best-possible training programs. The camp is open to runners of all ages and ability levels, and it is the only running camp in the world which teaches running-specific strength training, an easy-to-carry-out form of training which expands stride length, improves running efficiency, and lowers the risk of injury. Participants enjoy beautiful runs on trails in the Santa Monica Mountains and on Malibu’s picturesque beaches and appreciate the panoramic views of Malibu and the Pacific Ocean as they dine. The camp is designed to be both highly educational and fun. In daily classroom sessions, Anderson teaches attendees how to optimize the six key variables which are linked with improved running.
