West Covina, CA – April 2007 —UOMinistries.com, home of the United Outreach Ministries is officially announcing its annual USC vs. Notre Dame Celebrity Charity Golf Weekend today!

United Outreach Ministries, a 501 C (3) Non Profit Organization, was founded over 18 years ago by former Notre Dame football player and graduate Danny C Knott. The organization we created with the credo “Families Helping Families, regardless of race, color, or creed”. Also on the board of advisors are former USC great Rod McNiell and 3 time All American Luthor Bradley of Notre Dame.

The USC vs. Notre Dame Celebrity Golf Charity Weekend was created with one vision: to raise much needed funds for several important causes.

“I was given a great opportunity to attend Notre Dame. It changed my life and I will forever be in debt to my Alma Mater” Mr. Knott said.

The goal of the event, which is to be held at the beautiful Pacific Palms Resort in Southern California, is to provide financial support for students who have the dream, drive and desire of a higher education. The recipients of the awards will be given the opportunity to attend Notre Dame or the University of Southern California.

In addition to the scholastic awards, donations will be made to the USC/Norris Cancer Hospital and the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation.

The USC vs. Notre Dame Celebrity Charity Golf Weekend will pit longtime rivals, USC and Notre Dame players and fans, against each other on top ranked golf courses. Pacific Palms resort is home of the US Open and PGA qualifiers and The Nissan Open.

Golfers and football fans can sign up now for an opportunity to play with some of their favorite players. Former greats that are committed to the event are: Dave "The Ghost" Casper, Sam "Bam" Cunningham, Mike Garrett, Jerome Heavens, Luther Bradley, Joey Browner, Ross Browner, and Rudy Ruettiger - (The "Real" Rudy). More former greats will be added as the event gets closer as well.

"Getting what you want is only a problem if you have nowhere to go next. Dreaming is a lifetime occupation” says Rudy Ruettiger. Mr. Ruettiger was the subject of the highly inspirational movie “Rudy”.

The event will also provide excellent networking opportunities such as dinners and socials. There will also be a silent auction with some great memorabilia for fans.
