(PRLEAP.COM) April 16, 2007 - Albuquerque, NM - Thousands of collectors, investors and sportsman from around the World attend the Knifemakers’ Guild show each year to view and purchase these exquisite pieces of work and to meet their favorite artists and craftsmen.

Members of the Knifemakers’ Guild have taken the art of knife making to a whole new realm of excellence, the likes of which have to be seen and handled to really appreciate.
Handles are fashioned from some of the most exotic materials imaginable such as the tusk of a wooly mammoth which roamed the earth 25 thousand years ago or perhaps the iridescent black mother-of-pearl from the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
Most of the world best custom knifemakers will be displaying and selling their creations at the Buena Vista Palace Ballroom in Orlando, FL. The show will be opened to the public on Friday July 27th from 12 p.m. (noon) until 6 p.m. and on Saturday July 28th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday July 29th everyone is welcome to all the educational seminars and cutting competitions being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. www.knifemakersguild.com
The Knifemakers’ Guild was established in 1970 and has nearly 400 dedicated members not only from the United States but 12 other countries. The Guild is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to preserve and promote the art and craft of handmade knives and to insure that they are produced with integrity and excellence.
