Small Business Empowerment Association Announces Plan to Meet Growing Need for Small Business Consulting

(PRLEAP.COM) Raleigh, NC — While big business has been growing, the past few years have not been kind to many small businesses. Sales have often been slow while the rising cost of fuel, insurance, and real estate conspired to make growing a small business harder than ever.

The Small Business Empowerment Association (SBEA), headquartered in Memphis, TN, plans to provide the help small business owners need by recruiting and certifying a new generation of consultants. The program is online at http://www.DJohnson.CertifiedBC.com

"Small businesses are failing at a very high rate. More than 70% are no longer around after five years. Often failure is due to a lack of information and affordable resources available to entrepreneurs," said Malcolm Allen, founder of SBEA which has a 20-member staff, 12-member Board of Directors, and 20-member Corporate Advisory Board along with 128 chapters nationwide.

SBEA’s new small business consultants will be able to offer client’s the SBEA’s host of services heavily discounted at low group rates. These include marketing, health care, financial services, and just about everything else a small business might need.

"Typically a new business will go out and buy all these services they need individually. The cost almost always mounts faster than the founder expected and getting it all together takes an immense amount of time. Now our consultants can quickly set up small businesses with everything they need," Allen said.

Among the SBEA’s best source of new consultants are those who have been succeeding in small business for several years. The Internet and home business movements have created a large segment of the business community who thoroughly understand the challenges and rewards awaiting any new business.

"Those with some experience in small business or simply a desire to learn can become Certified, then earn a substantial extra income either as a main income source or as an added income stream to their existing business," Allen said.

New consultants can join the program at several levels offering a full range of SBEA services including an 800 marketing number, weekly training, personalized web site, and attractive commissions for referrals.
