Stand 4 Peace and Shawn Hlookoff partner to raise funds for 3rd world efforts

Victoria BC Canada – Founded in Victoria, BC, Canada, international student peace group Stand 4 Peace http://www.myspace/standforpeace has partnered with recording artist Shawn Hlookoff http://www.myspace.com/hlookoff to participate in a major fundraising event.
2 shows May 8th and 9th are to be held in Victoria BC Canada at the home of Stand 4 Peace, Spectrum community school http://spectrum.sd61.bc.ca/ . These concerts will provide a major fundraising effort for the world concerned group but will also raise the groups’ awareness further, when the world wide web cast is shown in June on http://www.hlookoff.com
Stand 4 Peace has built schools and clinics in several of the worlds most impoverished places. Their efforts have inspired students from around the globe.
This Pro-humanity group is lead by teachers Jeff Marchi and Tom Gordon with their efforts facilitated by theatre auteur Brian Whitmore. Each year their collective efforts have grown the project from a local action to a global effort.
To date, thousands of impoverished children have been helped in Sierra Leone, Peru and other developing nations. Their entire operating budget is raised through theses concert efforts.
Show times are Tuesday June 8th at 7:pm and Wednesday June 9th at 7 :pm
