BOQUERON, PUERTO RICO, April 2007 – Wildflowers Guest House launches it’s website, hoping to inspire guests to visit and enjoy all that it has to offer. The cozy retreat is situated amidst a gorgeous seaside community, located in the western area of Puerto Rico in Boqueron, Cabo Rojo, near the island's third largest city, Mayaguez just a one-hour drive from Aguadilla or Ponce; or a scenic three-hour drive from San Juan.

With eight comfortable, spacious, private rooms, the guest house affectionately called “La Casona”, has become the local retreat for islanders for the past six years. “We now want to open our doors to the world,” says Santa Ana Matos, the General Manager. “It’s exciting to have this website up,” she states, “I am now able to let everyone know Wildflowers Guest House can be more than just your favorite place to stay, but an ideal retreat.”

“One goal for the coming year is to have original artwork decorating the halls and rooms of Wildflowers Guests House”, says Ms. Matos, “we hope to highlight both local artists and artists throughout the U.S. and feature them on our online art gallery, plus offer guests a five minute walk to Boqueron beach!”

The artwork currently featured on the online gallery is by María Sánchez and titled "Vejigantes II". Ms. Sánchez enjoys making what she describes as “comfort food for walls.” Ms. Sánchez is the founder of Art by Latina Artists (ABLA), an online community created to give Latina artists a collective voice and serve as a resource for art enthusiasts.
