Keyspan Introduces New Look For TuneView iPod Remote

(PRLEAP.COM) April 2007 — (Retail-Vision, Nashville, TN) Keyspan revealed a new black version of its "TuneView for iPod", the market-leading, LCD-based iPod remote. The new black enclosure will be standard on all TuneView remotes beginning in May, and will also be available as an accessory for existing TuneView users.

"Customers have told us that they love TuneView’s ability to browse and manage an iPod throughout their house," said Keyspan president Mike Ridenhour. "However, many customers have said that they would favor a different look for the remote." Ridenhour explains that, "We tested several concepts in recent months and found that the black enclosure was a big hit."

Keyspan’s TuneView iPod remote was released to rave reviews in December 2006 at an MSRP of $179. Featuring a color LCD screen and 2-way RF connectivity that works through walls at distances of more than 100 feet, TuneView for iPod provides a way to browse and manage an iPod throughout a house. TuneView controls iPod music, videos and photos, and is compatible with 4G and 5G iPods with dock connectors including: iPod nano (2nd generation), iPod video, iPod nano (1st generation), iPod with color display and the iPod mini.

TuneView for iPod is available to US resellers via Ingram Micro, D&H and Wynit. It is available to consumers via the Keyspan store (www.keyspan.com), Amazon.com, MicroCenter, CompUSA.com and other leading consumer electronics resellers.
