Boys Vs. Toys: Are Bad Boyfriends Replaceable?

(PRLEAP.COM) King magazine (King-mag.com) and chick-lit author Zondra Hughes, launches an online debate about men and adult toys. Hughes just released her witty and thought-provoking book, “The M.O.O.D. Lounge” (iUniverse, in strategic partnership with Barnes & Noble, 2007).

(Chicago) Hailed by critics as a fresh voice in chick lit, Hughes, formerly the relationship editor at Ebony magazine, delivers an in-your-face blueprint for women who want to trade their bad boys for great toys just in time for summer.

However, the bad boyfriends aren’t going down without a fight, says King-mag.com’s controversial literature columnist, Leon Scott. In his column, “Women and their Toys” http://king-mag.com/online/?p=2802, Scott shares his thoughts about the premise of women replacing him with a toy.

“The premise of her new book was rather thought-provoking, and disturbing at the same time,” Scott notes. “Not to sound arrogant, but ladies, there IS NO replacing Leon Jr.!”

Scott opened up the column for discussion, and the women are giving him a piece of their mind.

Not since the down-low fury has a book caused such controversy in the male community.
The M.O.O.D. Lounge, a work of fiction, also contains an informative manual designed to teach women how to outfox their men, with chapters about deception, toys and masterful mind games.

The M.O.O.D. Lounge book has spawned an online community of 52,303 registered members, (www.moodlounge.org); a charity literacy organization, Romantic Chicks Read, www.romanticchicksread.org and The M.O.O.D. Lounge ladies are joining Newjax.com for the first Soulful Sail Away cruise to the Bahamas (www.newjax.com) in September.
