TOKYObay Announces their Television Debut

April 20, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Independent fashion accessory company TOKYObay will make their national television debut as Tyson, a stylist on “Shear Genius”, is seen wearing their Sacchetto waist pouch.

TOKYObay’s mission to meld vintage with modern is executed by its designers, Dory Isaacs and Jun Kobayashi, who originate from England and Japan, respectively. The design philosophy that each bring to the table allows TOKYObay’s products to become the perfect synthesis of old meets new; as is seen in the Sacchetto, the bag worn on Bravo’s “Shear Genius”. The Sacchetto’s inspiration comes from hair stylists’ equipment pouches, giving the bags a decidedly modern aesthetic. However, the European influence of the styling creates a well traveled look.

With the bags origins in hair styling, it only seems appropriate that a renowned stylist would choose the bag as his most trusted companion. Not only is the Sacchetto functional, because it wraps around the waist, but it’s also stylish- a must for anyone in an aesthetically driven field. Tyson confesses to owning about ten of the bags and never taking them off. The genius of the bag is the practicality and style that suits a stylist’s lifestyle can work for anyone’s day–to-day activities. The Sacchetto serves as an extra pocket for those with busy lives who don’t want to forgo fashion.
