Renowned Muslim scholar, Sheikh Yusuf Estes visits New Orleans

Sheikh Yusuf Estes, known by Muslims and non-Muslims as a pleasant speaker, is due to give 2 lectures in New Orleans. He is known for his simple and thought-provoking style of lecturing, which is not devoid of subtle humor at all. A staunch supporter of American Muslims, Yusuf Estes is well known in the Christian and Jewish communities as a promoter of tolerance and harmony.
His first lecture will be in the Business Building Room 179 at the University of New Orleans on Friday May 6th, 2005 from 4-5:30PM The talk is titled "Ignorance and its effects on Society". The second lecture will be in the Freeman Auditorium at Tulane University on Saturday May 7th, 2005 from 6:30-8PM. The Lecture is titled "“And KILL them where ever you find them…”- Holy Quran. What does this verse mean? Why?"
