April 28, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Linda Schumm, Regional Manager for the Cessna Pilot Centers will speak on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30pm at Suburban Aviation, Inc. The topics covered in her talk will include flight training today, what a private pilot license can provide for those who hold one, and what it takes to become a private pilot. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

"The pilot shortage is increasing and jobs are plentiful."
remarked Schumm. "However, the presentation next Thursday will be informational for those interested in a career or for anyone who wants to learn for business or pleasure."

According to the Wall Street Journal, airlines are desperately trying to fill their cockpits. Air travel is at an all time high and many pilots are facing mandatory retirement at age 60. Learning to fly is a dream that many have had since childhood and with Michigan's high unemployment rate, flying may be a dream come true.

"The Michigan Cessna Pilot Centers have the very best training curriculum available and state of the art, glass cockpit Skyhawk airplanes,” said Schumm “On Thursday, we'll have a special offer for those who would like to take their first flight."

Suburban Aviation is located at the Toledo Suburban Airport
(DUH) in Ottawa Lake, MI
