(
PRLEAP.COM) MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — PRAGMATEK Consulting Group, Limited, a business improvement and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions provider, has promoted Jane H. Malin to regional director of its eastern U.S. office to expand the firm’s footprint in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. In addition, the firm hired an IT industry veteran, Christopher A. Mazerolle, as regional sales manager, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The firm has had an Upstate New York presence since 1998.
Malin joined PRAGMATEK in 1998 as a senior consultant to focus primarily on ERP implementations. She also has provided extensive management consulting expertise to companies in need of business process improvement. In her new role as regional director, she oversees delivery of the firm’s services to ensure quality of project resources and results.
A member of the Supply-Chain Council’s North American Leadership Team since 2004, Malin is a published author and frequent speaker about the Council’s Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model and its convergence with other leading methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean. A Boston-based sales veteran who has 15 years of experience with enterprise applications for manufacturing, high tech and retail businesses, Mazerolle’s role as regional sales manager focuses on middle-market and Fortune 1000 companies in need of supply chain optimization, process improvement, enterprise data architecture strategies, and enterprise software installations or upgrades.
Most recently, Mazerolle was senior manager of east area sales for CapGemini U.S. LLC. Before that, he served as vice president of sales and business development of NorthPoint Software & Services Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts. Mazerolle resides in Medway, Mass.
“We believe there are many small- to medium-size businesses and divisions of larger companies that are underserved with local expertise in business improvement strategies and on-time, on-budget ERP implementations,” according to Steve Bloom, CEO of PRAGMATEK. “Examples of current hot topics among C-level executives include executive alignment of business and IT strategies, self-funding operational improvements that boost the bottom line, and applying emerging technologies to support the business model.”
PRAGMATEK’s revenues nearly doubled last year from $12 million in 2005 to $21 million in 2006. Bloom projects over $30 million in revenues for this year through organic growth and expansion into other markets.
