May 03, 2007 — On Monday, April 30, Texas’ favorite fresh fast casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, unveiled its newest Freebirds World Burrito in Richardson, Texas. The Telecom Corridor® restaurant is located at 238 W. Campbell Road located one block from Hwy 75, North Central Expressway.

The newest Freebirds location sports the chain’s funky and cool traditional trade dress elements, which are a blend of metal and wood finishes accented by cloudscapes, brick walls, concrete floors, and a bright yellow and black color scheme. The ‘it’s not normal’ décor also includes the omnipresent Libby on her custom Harley. At more than 3200 square feet, the Richardson location is one of the chain’s larger stores.

"Richardson has always been a city known for building toward the future,” said Alan Hixon, COO, Freebirds World Burrito. “Now those who live, work and play in Telecom Corridor® can custom build Freebirds burritos any time they like.”

The new restaurant employs 25 crew members and serves their full menu of burritos, salads, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos.

With the Richardson location, the company has grown to 19 locations across Texas in Austin, College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, Richardson, San Antonio and San Marcos.
